Terms and Conditions – Webjet Holiday Voucher

Entry

1. Instructions on how to enter the Webjet Holiday Voucher Competition (the Competition) and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

2. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter).

3. The Competition commences at 9.00am AEDT Wednesday 6 January 2021 and finishes at 11.59pm AEDT Thursday 28 February 2021 (the Promotion Period).

4. Entry in this Competition is open to all Australian residents who are a Qualifying Participant.

A Qualifying Participant is an individual who is a registered participant in The March Charge 2021 (the Event) during the Promotion Period and completes at least one of the below:

  • Registers for the Event by 11.59pm AEDT Thursday 4 February 2021 (World Cancer Day)
  • Sends an individual a link to register for the Event (the Registration Link) using the ‘Refer a friend’ or ‘Invite a friend’ functions on the participant dashboard, and that individual successfully registers for the Event using the Registration Link, by 11.59pm AEDT 28 February 2021
  • Receives a Registration Link from a registered participant and successfully registers for the Event via the Registration Link by 11.59pm AEDT Thursday 28 February 2021

Qualifying Participants may be eligible for multiple entries and entries will be granted based on the below:

  • 1 entry for Event registration by 11.59pm AEDT on 4 February 2021 (World Cancer Day)
  • 1 entry for each Registration Link sent to an individual by the Qualifying Participant where the individual successful registers for the Event using the Registration Link during the Promotion Period
  • 1 entry for Event registration via the Registration Link during the Promotion Period
  • Entry is automatic.

5. Individuals under 18 need their parent’s or guardian’s permission to enter the Competition.

Prize

6. The prize is 1 x Webjet holiday voucher (valued at AUD $2,000) redeemable for bookings that contain flights or packages or hotel bookings. Further booking terms & conditions can be found here: https://www.webjet.com.au/standalone/gift-card-terms/

7. The prize must be redeemed before 8 February 2024.

8. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize (including but not limited to additional travel outside the prize inclusions, spending money, meals, taxes, and personal, property and health insurance) are not included. The prize is not redeemable for cash. If the prize or an element of the prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.

9. This is a game of chance. The prize winner will be randomly drawn by the Promoter from the pool of Qualifying Participants who meet the eligibility criteria set out above.

10. The prize will be drawn at 12.00pm AEDT on Monday 8 March 2021 at the Promoter’s head office. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. The winner will be notified via email or phone from 12.30pm AEDT on Monday 8 February 2021 and must provide an email address for the prize to be sent to.

12. If the winner does not claim the prize within 14 days of the draw, the prize will be forfeited by the winner.

13. If the prize is not claimed, a second draw will be held at 12.00pm AEDT on Tuesday 23 March 2021 at the Promoter’s head office to re-draw the prize. The winner of the redraw will be notified via email or phone and must provide an email address for the prize to be sent to.

14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

15. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Collection Statement.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Terms and Conditions – The March Charge socks

To be eligible to receive The March Charge socks, you must:

  • be one of the first 200 people to register for The March Charge 2021 during the period commencing at 9.00am AEDT Wednesday 6 January 2021 and finishing at 11.59pm AEDT Thursday 4 February (the Promotion Period), AND
  • be a past participant from either The March Charge 2019 or The March Charge 2020 events who raised between $100 and $999 for that event.

If you meet the eligibility criteria above, after the Promotion Period has ended you will automatically receive The March Charge socks by mail to the postal address you provided to Cancer Council during registration.

Cancer Council reserves the right, at any time, to verify your eligibility to receive The March Charge socks. The decision of Cancer Council shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Terms and Conditions – The March Charge T-shirt

To be eligible to receive The March Charge t-shirt, you must:

  • be one of the first 200 people to register for The March Charge 2021 during the period commencing at 9.00am AEDT Wednesday 6 January 2021 and finishing at 11.59pm AEDT Thursday 4 February (the Promotion Period), AND
  • be a past participant from either The March Charge 2019 or The March Charge 2020 events who raised $1000 or more for that event.

If you meet the eligibility criteria above, after the Promotion Period has ended you will receive an email from Cancer Council NSW notifying you of your eligibility to receive a The March Charge t-shirt. The email will contain a link to our online t-shirt store, together with a 100% discount code. You will need to go to our online t-shirt store, submit an order and apply the discount code during checkout.

Your The March Charge t-shirt order will be dispatched within a reasonable time of receiving of those details using Australia Post. Cancer Council NSW is not responsible for any delays or failures in delivery once the item is deposited with Australia Post. Only one The March Charge t-shirt is available per person. The March Charge t-shirt is not redeemable for cash, and eligibility to receive a The March Charge t-shirt does not entitle you to a refund of any price previously paid for a The March Charge t-shirt. The March Charge t-shirt offer discount code will expire if you do not submit an order by 11.59pm on 31 March 2021.

Cancer Council reserves the right, at any time, to verify your eligibility to receive The March Charge t-shirt. The decision of Cancer Council shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
