Terms and Conditions – Webjet Holiday Voucher 

Entry 

1. Instructions on how to enter the The March Charge 2022 (the Event) Webjet Holiday Voucher Competition (the Competition) and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.  
2. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions.  
3. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter). 
4. The Competition commences at 9.00am AEDT Wednesday 5 January 2022 and finishes at 11.59pm AEDT Monday 28 February 2022 (the Promotion Period). 

5. Entry in this Competition is only open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over, or if under 18 years have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian and who: 

a. have registered to participate in the Event;  
b. completes at least one of the below: 

Registers for the Event by 11.59pm AEDT Friday 11 February 2022

Sends an individual a link to register for the Event (the Registration Link) using the ‘Refer a friend’ or ‘Invite a friend’ functions on the participant dashboard, and that individual successfully registers for the Event using the Registration Link, by 11.59pm AEDT Monday 28 February 2022  

Receives a Registration Link from a registered participant and successfully registers for the Event via the Registration Link by 11.59pm AEDT Monday 28 February 2022  

(Qualifying Participant 

6. Qualifying Participants are automatically entered into the Competition and may be eligible for multiple entries,  granted based on the below:  

  • 1 entry for Event registration by 11.59pm AEDT Friday 4 February 2022 (World Cancer Day) 
  • 1 entry for each Registration Link sent to an individual by the Qualifying Participant where the individual successful registers for the Event using the Registration Link during the Promotion Period 
  • 1 entry for Event registration via the Registration Link during the Promotion Period 

Prize 

7. The Prize is 1 x Webjet holiday voucher (valued at AUD $2,000) redeemable for bookings that contain flights or packages or hotel bookings. Further booking terms and conditions can be found here: https://www.webjet.com.au/standalone/gift-card-terms/  
8. The Prize must be redeemed before 7 February 2025. 
9. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize (including but not limited to additional travel outside the prize inclusions, spending money, meals, taxes, and personal, property and health insurance) are not included. The Prize is not redeemable for cash. If the Prize or an element of the Prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable Prize or Prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu. 
10. This is a game of chance. The Prize winner will be randomly drawn by the Promoter from the pool of Qualifying Participants who meet the eligibility criteria set out above. 
11. The Prize will be drawn at 12.00pm AEDT on Monday 7 March 2022 at the Promoter’s head office. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
12. The winner will be notified via email or phone from 12.30pm AEDT on Monday 7 March 2022 and to claim the Prize, must provide an email address for the Prize to be sent to. 
13. If the winner does not claim the Prize within 14 days of the draw, the Prize will be forfeited by the winner.  
14. If the Prize is not claimed, a second draw will be held at 12.00pm AEDT on Tuesday 22 March 2022 at the Promoter’s head office to re-draw the prize. The winner of the redraw will be notified via email or phone and is required to comply with these terms as if it were the original winner.    
15. If the Prize is again unclaimed, the draw and notification process will be repeated until the Prize is claimed or a period of three months has elapsed, whichever is the earlier. If the Prize remains unclaimed after three months, it will be sold and proceeds paid to The Cancer Council NSW. 
16. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
17. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Collection Statement. 
18. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. 

Terms and Conditions – The March Charge socks

  1. Instructions on how to enter The March Charge 2022 (the Event) Socks competition (the Competition) form part of these conditions of entry.  
  2.  Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions.  
  3. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter).
  4. The Competition commences at 9.00am AEDT Wednesday 5 January 2022 and finishes at 11.59pm AEDT Friday 4 February 2022 (the Promotion Period 
  5. This Competition is only open to Event participants who are Australian residents aged 18 years or over, or if under 18 years of age have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian, and who: a. are one of the first 200 people to register for the Event during the Promotion Period;  b. are a past participant from either The March Charge 2020 or The March Charge 2021 events who raised between $100 and $999.99 for that event; and 
     c. are not an employee of the Promoter or a relative of any employee of the Promoter. 

(Qualifying Participant) 

6. Qualifying Participants are automatically entered into the Competition, with a limit of one entry per person. 

7. Qualifying Participants will automatically receive a pair of The March Charge socks by mail to the postal address you provided to Cancer Council during registration. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.

 8. Only one pair of The March Charge socks is available per person. The The March Charge socks are not redeemable for cash. If The March Charge socks become unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.

 9. Any The March Charge socks remaining unclaimed at the end of the Promotion Period will be sold and proceeds paid to The Cancer Council NSW. 

 10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify your eligibility to receive The March Charge socks (including your identity, age, place of residence and previous fundraising amounts) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. Instructions on how to enter The March Charge 2022 (the Event) T-shirt competition (the Competition) form part of these conditions of entry.  
  2. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions.  
  3. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter).
  4. The Competition commences at 9.00am AEDT Wednesday 5 January 2022 and finishes at 11.59pm AEDT Friday 4 February 2022 (the Promotion Period).

Terms and Conditions – The March Charge Bandana

  1. Instructions on how to enter The March Charge 2022 (the Event) Bandana competition (the Competition) form part of these conditions of entry.  
  2.  Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions.  
  3. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter).
  4. The Competition commences at 9.00am AEDT Tuesday 1 February 2022 and finishes at 11.59pm AEDT Tuesday 1 March 2022 (the Promotion Period 
  5. This Competition is only open to Event participants who are Australian residents aged 18 years or over, or if under 18 years of age have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian, and who are one of the first 6000 people to register for the Event during the Promotion Period.

(Qualifying Participant) 

6. Qualifying Participants are automatically entered into the Competition, with a limit of one entry per person. 

7. Qualifying Participants will automatically receive a pair of The March Charge bandana by mail to the postal address you provided to Cancer Council during registration. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.

 8. Only one March Charge bandana is available per person. The March Charge bandana is not redeemable for cash. If The March Charge bandana becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.

 9. Any March Charge bandanas remaining unclaimed at the end of the Promotion Period will be sold and proceeds paid to The Cancer Council NSW. 

 10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify your eligibility to receive The March Charge bandana (including your identity, age, place of residence and previous fundraising amounts) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
