Raising funds for Cancer Council
This month I am running 100kms over the month of March in memory of my Dad.
We lost my Dad to brain cancer in November 2017 and this has since been a cause very close to my heart.
This year in Australia an estimated 162,000 people will hear the words "you have cancer", I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by cancer. I am fundraising for world-class cancer research, prevention programs and support services.
I am the furthest thing from a ‘runner,’ but I am excited to challenge myself and will be thinking of my Dad as my motivation every step of the way. It’s going to be tough, but it’s nothing compared to what those who experience cancer go through.
Every dollar raised would be so greatly appreciated!
