The March Charge 2021

My Story

On April 4th 2020, in the midst of the COVID pandemic my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. It was a difficult journey for all of us. Sadly, after his palliative treatment had finished, my dad passed away at home on October 22nd 2020. We are eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses, palliative care staff and volunteers that supported him and my family along the way. Now it’s our turn to pay it forward.

I am taking part in The March Charge with Cancer Council and telling cancer where to go. Cancer still takes too many of us. 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Research sees more people than ever survive but we’ve still got a way to go. And we need your help to end cancer. It’s going to be a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to those who experience cancer. Please sponsor me today to support my challenge and join me in telling cancer where to go! Your donation will help our local Cancer Council support those affected right now and fund world-changing research to help more people survive. Thank you for your support.
