Heavy Breathers

We’re taking on the March Charge

We’re a team of Respiratory and Infectious Diseases nurses taking on the March Charge, each committing to run 100 kilometres throughout the month of March.

Every day at work we see first-hand the impact serious illness can have on individuals and families. Cancer touches so many lives — our patients, colleagues, friends and loved ones — and that’s why this challenge means so much to us.

While we usually spend our shifts caring for others, this March we’re lacing up our runners, pushing through the kilometres, and stepping outside our comfort zones to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council. Every kilometre we run is dedicated to those affected by cancer, and to supporting research, prevention, and patient care.

Thank you for supporting our team and cheering us on — together we can make a difference, one kilometre at a time.
