Our team are supporting Cancer Council's The March Charge...
The March Charge is a month-long fitness challenge close to home for us, raising vital funds for world-class cancer research.
This year marks 10 years of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support those impacted by cancer — and we’re proud to be part of that movement and Charge for Change together.
Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the words “you have cancer” this year. That reality has hit especially close to home for us. We’re taking on this challenge not just to get fit, but to honour those who’ve been impacted and to help create a future where fewer families have to hear those words.
This year, life threw me a curveball. I found myself in a really vulnerable place, almost living out of my car until a family opened their home to me without hesitation. No questions. No judgement. Just connection, kindness, and care. From day one, they made me feel like part of the family.
During that time, I learned more about Steve, a much-loved father and husband who was taken far too soon by cancer. He raised three incredibly strong, kind, and inspiring women, alongside a wife/mum who continues to hold everything together with strength and grace. Their resilience, love, and openness left a lasting impact on me.
So this March, Louisa, Olivia, Estelle, Savanna, and I are taking this on together as a team committing to a combined 250km of walking and running across the month. It’s our way of honouring Steve, supporting his family, and standing with every person and family affected by cancer.
The least we can do is get our legs moving.
The most we can do is make every kilometre count.
Please consider sponsoring us. Every dollar raised helps fund Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services.
Together, we charge for change.
For Steve. For those still fighting. For those we’ve lost. And for the families who carry on with strength every day.
