My Activity Tracking

My target 400kms

Week four

Three days to go! Woo.ย
Feeling very physically and emotionally drained. It's definitely been a challenging few weeks. Very proud of what we have achieved in such a short amount of time though!
Late last week I realised that I had been doing 1km extra a day than I needed to be doing, so I am quite ahead of where I need to be. I have 17kms to go and three days to do them in!
Jordan and I are planning on doing a run together on Wednesday night to finish off the month. Anyone is welcome to join us! You can shoot either of us a message if you're interested! :)
Much love always!!

Week three

Feeling drrrrrraaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnneeeeddddd AF lol. I had a couple days off this week, mainly for my mental health. Feeling a bit meh if I am totally honest but it will pass.
In other news... 9 days to goooooo wooohooooo!
I also ran 15kms over the weekend which is my longest run ever! Next stop: half marathon (21kms). I wish this weather would clear up, getting sick of running on treadmills.
Nothing much else to report, love you guys and as always thank you for your continued support!! xxxx

Week two

Hey guys!
Sorry I am a bit late with my second week update! I know you guys were on the edge of your seats with anticipation :P
Life has been so full on but I have been putting the work in in the background - promise!
If you'd like to stay up to date with my progress, I am really active on my social media platforms and I have an Instagram highlight reel for this years challenge too (#influencer!!!)

Feeling good, certainly better than the first week. I feel like my body is getting used to the intensity and amount of work I am doing. It's really cool to see how far you can push your body if you really put your mind to it.
I have no blisters whatsoever, and I am putting that down to my new ASICS that Jordan bought me from PACE Athletics in Balmain (highly recommend if you're after new runners!). I even ran 15KMs the other day and I didn't feel the slightest discomfort... whaaaaaaaaat? Amazing.
Other than that I am a bit sore but nothing unexpected!

We're a little behind where I'd like to be with donations but that is totally fine - I am happy to raise any money at all. Still have hope that we can hit the $10K. Positive vibes ya'll. I am manifesting that shit. The owner of my gym said he would donate which is AWESOME. And it made me think that maybe I should reach out to my local businesses and see if they'd like to get on board.

Jordan is doing the challenge with me as well, which he is absolutely smashing. He has set a goal to run 150KMs and raise $1,000 and has been doing this while supporting my me through my challenge. He is my number one supporter and I am so lucky to have him in my corner. He is an actual angel on earth.

If you are unable to donate that is fine! Even just sharing my post really helps to get my page out there. I am very determined to smash my goals this year and I believe that we can do it together. Here's hopin'!

Week one

So that sucked... LOL!

As of Sunday 7/3/21 I have clocked 106kms and we have raised $2, 150!!!
I am feeling OK - last year I had a major issue with blistering on my feet which (thankfully) hasn't been a problem this time round. I am, however, very fatigued and woke up this morning feeling like I had been hit by a bus overnight haha! It's all good though, totally worth it!
The time is absolutely flying by - this challenge combined with uni, work and day to day life leaves me with no time whatsoever but I am grateful that I can take this challenge on and work for a cause that is so close to my heart.

Doing this challenge makes me feel very close to mum and that has come with its struggles. I have moments where I am faced with the realisation of what happened to her and the fact that she is gone, and it literally takes my breath away and for a few moments I feel as though the sky is falling. I miss her so dearly and it just makes me so sad and angry that she was taken from us so abruptly with no answers whatsoever. Which is exactly why I am doing this.
So thank you, so much, for supporting me. It truly means the world.

March Charge 2021

Helloooo :)

I'd like to begin by saying thank you for taking the time to visit my page. Whether you end up donating or not, I appreciate you taking an interest in mums story. It really means the world to our family.

This year will be a little different than last. I currently have a myriad of injuries that I am trying to manage so I will be reducing my running KMs but I will be replacing them with swimming/cycling KMs. I don't have experience doing either so it will definitely be a challenging month lol!
Don't be afraid to contact me if you want to have a chat, ask any questions or even just say hello :)

Thanks again for coming along for the ride, sit back and enjoy while I suffer :P

Thank you to my Sponsors
