My reason why

I have decided to join the Quality Chargers Team to contribute to this amazing cause for such a devastating disease. I have had close family members and friends struck with cancer and I would like to do my bit to help.

Our very close friend James is currently battling like a boss, and we have seen first hand how it effects him, his beautiful family and his great network of friends. 

I have a close work friend who has smashed her treatment over the last year and is coming out the other side. It has been inspiring to watch her handle every step.

And also a family friend and hilarious ex colleague that is also currently battling and getting through one laugh at a time.

I am setting a goal to walk everyday with my son Rory in the pram in order to reach my goal km's. Can't think of a better reason to get out and get moving while making a small difference for people I love and care for. 

I am taking part in The March Charge with Cancer Council and telling cancer where to go! Sadly cancer still takes too many of us. Research sees more people than ever survive but we’ve still a way to go. And I need your help to beat cancer. It’s going to be a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to those who experience cancer.
