I am taking part in The March Charge with Cancer Council and telling cancer where to go! At the age of 16 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was uprooted from my life in the country and moved to Adelaide for over 6 months for intensive chemotherapy treatment. Now, 5 years on and in remission I am determined to be able to see an end to cancer. The effects do not just end at the end of your treatment. The physical and mental damage that is done can take years to recover from- and even then the horrible memories are still there. I am healthy now- but there are plenty out there that are not. During my time in the chemotherapy ward- I met many sick children as young as a few months old. I am walking for them- because they cannot.
