2026 Registration Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions – The March Charge T-shirt - First 4,000 registrations

Entry

  1. Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into The March Charge 2026 t-shirt promotion (the Promotion) constitutes acceptance of these conditions. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time, in accordance with state regulations.   
  2. The promoter of this Competition is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter).
  3. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to inform you of any changes to the conduct of the Promotion. 
  4. The Promotion commences at 9.00am AEDT Tuesday 6 January 2026 and finishes at 11.59pm AEDT Friday 27 February 2026 or earlier if the stock of 4,000 t-shirts is exhausted (the Promotion Period). Please note, if your preferred size is unavailable, you will receive the closest available size. 
  5. This Promotion is open to Australian residents who: 
  • are aged 18 years or over OR are aged under 18 years and have obtained permission from a parent or guardian to enter; 
  • register for The March Charge (the Event); 
  • are one of the first 4,000 people to register for the Event during the Promotion Period; and 
  • opt-in for a t-shirt and provide your size at the time of registration and include delivery location (Qualifying Participants). 
  1. There is no fee required to enter the Promotion. 
  2. Entry is automatic and limited to one per person. 
  3. Any persons involved in the management of the Promoter, and employees of the Promoter are not eligible to enter. Any person involved in the determination of prize recipients is not eligible to enter. 

Prize  

  1. The first 4,000 Qualifying Participants will receive a March Charge branded t-shirt, valued at $7.00 including GST (the Prize). 
  2. Qualifying Participants may not receive more than one (1) Prize. There are no bonus prizes to be awarded.  
  3. The Prize will be shipped from February, and the Prize recipients will receive an email from the Promoter notifying them when their Prize has been shipped. 
  4. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize are not included. The Prize is not redeemable for cash. If a prize or element of a Prize becomes unavailable for unforeseeable or other special circumstances, then a comparable prize that is of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu. 
  5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Qualifying Participants (including identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any Qualifying Participants who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tamper with the entry process. The Promoter’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  6. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Collection Statement.
  7. The Promoter are not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Promotion.

Terms and Conditions – Invite a friend - $1000 Visa Gift Card

Entry
  1. Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into The March Charge 2026 Invite a Friend Visa Gift Card Competition (the Promotion) constitutes acceptance of these conditions. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time, in accordance with state regulations.
  2. The promoter of this Promotion is The Cancer Council NSW (ABN 51 116 463 846), 153 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, (02) 9334 1900 (the Promoter). 
  3. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to inform you of any changes to the conduct of the Promotion.
  4. The Promotion commences at 9.00am AEDT Tuesday 6 January 2026 and finishes at 11:59pm AEDT Wednesday 4 March 2026 (the Promotion Period). 
  5. This Promotion is open to Australian residents who: 
    1. are aged 18 or over OR are aged under 18 and have permission from a parent or guardian to enter; and
    2. register to participate in The March Charge 2026 (the Event) and sends an individual a link to register for the Event (the Registration Link) using the ‘Refer a friend’, ‘Invite a friend’ or 'Join my team' functions on the participant dashboard, and that individual successfully registers for the Event using the Registration Link, by 11:59pm AEDT Wednesday 4 March 2026;  OR Receives a Registration Link from a registered participant and successfully registers for the Event via the Registration Link by 11:59pm AEDT Wednesday 4 March 2026.

(Qualifying Participants)

  1. Qualifying Participants may be eligible for multiple entries as follows;
  2. One entry for each Registration Link sent to an individual by the Qualifying Participant where the individual successful registers for the Event using the Registration Link during the Promotion Period; and
  3. One entry for each successful Event registration via the Registration Link during the Promotion Period 
  4. There is no fee required to enter the Promotion.
  5. Entry is automatic.
  6. Any persons involved in the management of the Promoter, and employees of the Promoter are not eligible to enter. Any person involved in the determination of prize winners is not eligible to enter.

Prize 

  1. The Prize is a Visa Gift Card with a total value of AUD $1,000 $1,000 inclusive of GST (the Prize).
  2. This is a game of chance. The Prize winner will be randomly drawn by the Promoter from the pool of Qualifying Participants at 10am AEDT Thursday 5 March 2026 at the Promoter’s head office. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. Qualifying Participants may not win more than one (1) prize. There are no bonus prizes to be awarded.
  4. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize are not included. The Prize is not redeemable for cash. If a Prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable for unforeseeable or other special circumstances, then a comparable prize that is of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.
  5. The winner will be notified personally via email or phone from 10am AEDT Thursday 5 March 2026 and to claim the Prize the winner must provide an email and/or postal address for the Prize to be sent to.
  6. The winner will be publicly announced on The March Charge website. 
  7. The Prize will be sent within seven (7) days of being claimed. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the Prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian. 
  8. If the Prize is not claimed within 14 days, a second draw will be held at 10am AEDT on Friday 20 March 2026 at the Promoter’s head office to re-draw the Prize. The winner of the redraw will be notified personally via email or phone and must comply with these terms as if they were the original winner.
  9. If, after the second draw, the Prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter will publish this information on its website. In these circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to retain the prize and put it to an alternative use as it sees fit.
  10.
