What is BAN?

Beyond All New Hope!

BAN is a fundraising team created in honour of my late dad, Ban, who passed away from cancer. The name stands for Beyond All New Hope. A reminder that even when options feel exhausted, hope can still exist.

In March, I’m running 85km to support cancer research and push myself beyond limits. This run represents resilience, persistence, and continuing forward when things are hardest.

I would love it if you register and join my team, BAN, by running, walking, or moving any distance that feels meaningful. Every step, donation, and share helps fund research and create hope for the future.

Team Updates

March Charge – Day 1 💛

Today marks the start of the March Charge. 85km across the month to raise funds for cancer research. A solid goal, and a cause that makes every kilometre count.

We kicked it off properly.

I managed 9km today, which is officially my longest and best PB so far. Honestly, I felt it. But in the best way. Knowing it’s for something bigger makes it easier to keep moving when the legs start questioning your decisions.

Tom Nguyen clocked 10km and we ran it together. Having someone beside you makes a huge difference, especially when the pace starts creeping up and the breathing gets heavier.

Jake Doseburg also got 5km done today. Strong start all round.

Day one down. Momentum building.
85km for the month is underway.
