I'm Charging for my Myself

I'm taking on The March Charge...

Hello!

This year I am charging for me. 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Unknown Primary. Squamous cell carcinoma is very common skin cancer, but it's extremely rare when the primary is unknown.

So far, I've undergone 2 surgeries and 20 radiation treatments.

As I was about to start Marching, I've ended up at the hospital and received additional emergency radiation treatments on my spine.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to achieve my goal of 150kms, but I have been cleared for some walking, I will do my best in my current condition.

This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, a decade of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support people impacted by cancer. I’m proud to be part of this movement and Charge for Change.

Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the words “you have cancer” this year. I’m doing my part to change this by fundraising for those affected.
