I'm Charging for my Dad, Richard

I'm taking on The March Charge...

In September 2024, I lost my dad to cancer. I was there when he took his last breath — the saddest and hardest moment of my life. Watching someone so strong, someone you call your hero, fade away is a pain I can’t fully put into words. Cancer didn’t just take my dad; it changed me forever.

My dad was my old man, my protector, my guide. The strength he showed throughout his fight inspired me more than he will ever know. Even on the hardest days, he carried himself with courage and love for his family. That’s how I will always remember him.

This March Charge is dedicated to my dad — to honour his fight, his strength, and the incredible man he was. I’m doing this in his memory and in the hope that one day we will find a cure for this cruel disease, so other families don’t have to experience this kind of heartbreak.
