I'm Charging for my Myself

WHY IM DOING THE MARCH CHARGE

This March, I’m taking part in the March Charge with work for a reason that’s deeply personal to me.

On September 14th, 2017, my life changed when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Like so many others, I didn’t expect it to be me. Cancer doesn’t ask if the timing is right, if you’re ready, or if you have a family depending on you it just arrives. What followed was a journey filled with fear, strength I didn’t know I had, incredible support, and moments that changed the way I see life forever. I’m doing the March Charge to honour that journey the tough days, the small wins, and the people who stood beside me. I’m also doing it for everyone who is currently fighting, those who have fought before me, and those who may one day hear the same words I did. Cancer research, awareness, and support services matter. They matter because early detection saves lives. They matter because no one should feel alone during one of the hardest times of their life. Every step I take this March is a reminder of how far I’ve come and a way to give back.
