I am Charging for my Grandfather, Alan

I'm taking on The March Charge...

In March, I’m aiming to run/walk 85km to help raise funds for the cancer council. That’s about a half marathon every week for four weeks!

As some of you might know, my grandad has been battling cancer, and he’s putting up the absolute strongest fight of his life.

I am dedicating the March Charge for him.

He’s always been my biggest supporter—he’s been my life mentor, a shoulder to cry an ear to listen to and the one who always gives me a good push when I need it.

Now, I want to show him my support and challenge myself both physically and mentally to help him through this tough time.

I’m hoping to raise money and awareness so that one day, no one else has to hear those awful words, ‘you have cancer’ or go through the pain of treatment.

I am doing this to honour him and his battle he is facing every day, Grandad this one’s for you 💕

This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, a decade of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support people impacted by cancer. I’m proud to be part of this movement and Charge for Change.

Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the the words “you have cancer” this year. I’m doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for those affected.
