Help me get to $1000 for 100km in March

Every single day in Australia, just under 500 people will be delivered the devastating news that they have cancer. Four weeks ago, that was my Dad. My normally hyperactive fit healthy over the top Dad was given a diagnosis that seems almost incomprehensible - mestastatic pancreatic cancer. One of the meanest and nastiest and sneakiest cancers there is. 

Since his diagnosis, our lives have been flipped upside down and back to front. Nothing looks quite the same, and we are all working together to juggle kids/normal life/work and spending lots of time together along with uncertainty, appointments, chemo, and lots of big emotions. 

In true Dad form, he has met this diagnosis with gusto, determination, humour and conviction that he will be the one they write journal articles about because he's going to beat it. 

In the days following his diagnosis, I spent hours trawling the Cancer Council website—reading, learning, and finding resources to help support all of us as we navigate this. When I reached out for support, both the boys and I were immediately referred to psychologists, with the full cost covered by the Cancer Council.

For these reasons, and so many more, I’m asking you to dig deep and help me raise $1,000 as I walk 100km in March. And if you fancy getting out there with me, I'll never say no to company whilst I walk!
