I'm Charging for my Dad, John
I'm taking on The March Charge...
My name is Christine. This year, I am taking part in The March Charge for the first time, in honour of my father, John.
In 2014, my mother passed away after her battle with cancer, a loss that profoundly changed our family. Six years later, in 2020, my father came to visit us, but due to COVID lockdown, he was unable to return home. While awaiting for flight availability, he became unwell and was diagnosed with cancer. Through extraordinary courage and resilience, John fought the disease and survived. Our family is deeply grateful for the compassion, expertise, and tireless efforts of the medical staff at RPH.
Cancer has had an enormous and lasting impact on my family. Taking on this challenge is my way of remembering my mother, honouring my father’s strength, and giving back.
Please sponsor me today and make every kilometre count! Each kilometre represents love, resilience, loss, and hope.
Together, we can tell cancer where to go. Feel the Charge and join me in making a difference!
