I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge...
This year I am participating in the Cancer Council’s March Charge to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, advocacy and support.
This is a cause very close to my heart. In 2022 I lost my wonderful Dad to uveal melanoma and now my beautiful Mum has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The aim of the March Charge is to run or walk 85kms during the month of March, for the 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Anyone who knows me knows I am not a runner, but I will be running 85kms during the month of March to raise money for this great cause.
This year in Australia an estimated 162,000 people will hear the words "you have cancer", I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by cancer.
Please sponsor me today to make every KM count! Every dollar raised will help support Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services (like their free, confidential Information and Support line 13 11 20) for people affected by cancer.
