I'm taking on The March Charge for Cancer
— a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research. Throughout the month of March, I’ve committed to completing 100km of walking/running, to support an incredible cause
This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, a decade of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support people impacted by cancer. I’m proud to be part of this movement and to Charge for Change.
I’m doing this challenge in honour of family members close to my heart who have not only suffered through cancer, but some who we have sadly lost to this disease — my Poppy Barry, Nanny Val, Jen Kable, Kate McCartin, and Nanny Fran. Cancer has had a profound impact on my family, and this is my way of raising awareness and helping create change.
Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the words “you have cancer” this year. I’m doing my part to help change this by getting active and fundraising for those affected.
Please sponsor me and help make every kilometre count. Every dollar raised will support Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services.
Together, we can tell cancer where to go. Feel the Charge and join me in making a difference.
