I'm taking on The March Charge...
This year I’m taking on The March Charge for someone incredibly special — my Mum.
However, cancer doesn’t just touch one person — it impacts an entire family. Over the past year, it’s been our reality twice. Mum continues her fight, and last year Dad was also diagnosed with prostate cancer.
For January and February, I’m lacing up my runners for Dad. I’m setting myself a goal of 100km across the two months as a warm-up for ‘The March Charge’ using this time to show my support and stand beside him in my own way.
In 2024, Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. If you know her, you know how strong, loving and resilient she is. Taking on this challenge is my way of standing beside her and helping fund vital cancer research so families like ours can have more hope, more options, and more time.
Throughout March, I’m aiming to run 100km. Every kilometre is for strength, resilience, and hope — for Dad, for Mum, and for everyone affected by cancer.
If you’re able to donate or share, it would mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for your support!
The March Charge is a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research.
This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, a decade of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support people impacted by cancer. I’m proud to be part of this movement and Charge for Change.
Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the the words “you have cancer” this year. I’m doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for those affected.
Please sponsor me today and make every kilometre count! Every dollar raised will help fund Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services.
Together, we can tell cancer where to go. Feel the Charge and join me in making a difference!
