I'm taking on Cancer Council's The March Charge...
...a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services.
This year in Australia an estimated 162,000 people will hear the words "you have cancer", I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by cancer.
I’ve decided to take part as like many, my family had been affected by cancer. Just last year, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. While he is doing well with his treatment, this was a really shocking thing to find out, so I decided I wanted to do something to support others affected by cancer. This years fundraising for ovarian cancer research is close to my heart as my family sadly lost my cousin to ovarian cancer in 2007.
So, for my dad who is still going through treatment for his cancer and for my other family members still fighting or have sadly lost their battle, this is for all of them and for other families affected by the ugly C word.
It would mean a lot to me if you shared my page or donated if you could. ?
