I'm Charging for my Grandparents, Stephen & Heather

I'm taking on The March Charge...

This year, I’m taking on the March Charge in support of Cancer Council and the vital work they do in funding cancer research and support services.

Over the past two years, my life has been profoundly shaped by cancer. I lost both of my grandparents to this devastating disease. As their primary support person, I walked alongside them through every stage, from the shock of a terminal diagnosis, to the treatments, the side effects, and the emotional and physical toll that cancer brings. It’s something you can never truly prepare for, and it leaves a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Taking part in the March Charge is my way of honouring them. It’s a small but meaningful way I can turn grief into action. By raising awareness and funds for cancer research and support, I hope to contribute to a future where fewer families have to experience the pain that ours did.
