I'm Charging for my Sister, Helen
Ian Bachelor is taking on The March Charge...
I'm taking part in Cancer Council's March Charge this year.I've set myself a goal of walking 100 kms over 5 days from March 23 - 27, averaging 20 kms a day. I have a dual purpose in undertaking this challenge. Firstly to help raise much needed funds for Cancer Council Australia, and secondly as a training exercise for my walk on the Camino in May/June. My grandson, who is 15, will be accompanying me as we attempt to walk 480 kms over 4 weeks. That's only half the distance of the full Camino in northern Spain, but at 81 that's about my limit! Thankfully, Ethan will be with me all the way!
As a cancer survivor for over 10 years now, I can readily relate to the importance of raising funds for ongoing cancer research. If you're able to support me with a donation, of any amount, that would be great.
Thanks,
Ian Bachelor.
