The March Charge 2026

I'm Charging for my Sister, Helen

Ian Bachelor is taking on The March Charge...

I'm taking part in Cancer Council's March Charge this year.

I've set myself a goal of walking 100 kms over 5 days from March 23 - 27, averaging 20 kms a day. I have a dual purpose in undertaking this challenge. Firstly to help raise much needed funds for Cancer Council Australia, and secondly as a training  exercise for my walk on the Camino in May/June. My grandson, who is 15, will be accompanying me as we attempt to walk 480 kms over 4 weeks. That's only half the distance of the full Camino in northern Spain, but at 81 that's about my limit! Thankfully, Ethan will be with me all the way!

As a cancer survivor for over 10 years now, I can readily relate to the importance of raising funds for ongoing cancer research. If you're able to support me with a donation, of any amount, that would be great.

Thanks,

Ian Bachelor.
