I'm Charging for my Aunty
I'm taking on The March Charge!!!!
This month, I’m taking part in a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research, and I’m doing it with passion in every step.
The March Charge is celebrating 10 years of Aussies getting active and raising millions of dollars to support people impacted by cancer. It’s such a positive, powerful movement, and I feel so lucky to be part of something that turns everyday exercise into real change.
This year, my aunty was diagnosed with lung cancer. Watching someone you love go through something like that changes our perspective really quickly. It reminds you how precious health is and how important it is to show up for the people you care about. Taking on this challenge feels like my way of standing beside her and reminding her that she’s not alone.
So now, every walk, run, and step means a little more. Every kilometre is for my aunty, and for the thousands of other families facing cancer right now.
Around 169,000 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer this year, which is why every dollar raised helps. Donations go towards Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services that bring hope and support when people need it most.
This challenge isn’t just about fitness, it’s about strength, community, and doing something positive together. If you’d like to support me, donate, or even join in, I’d love to have you along for the journey.
Let’s stay active, spread some hope, and tell cancer where to go. Feel the Charge and join me in making a difference!
