Its also not too late to donate for this awesome cause and show your support to the Cancer Council of Australia, so im sending another Final Call-out for anyone who would like to make a donation for this wonderful service. I would also like to thank the staff at the Cancer Council, The March Charge Group organisers, admins. A big THANK YOU to all sponsors, who have been so kind to donate to my fund-raising challenge and to those who have supported me throughout this journey and showing care, empathy, love and compassion for my niece , Tracey. 🙏🏾🌈🫶🏽💛💛March Charging dedicated to my niece. 🙏🏾💛🫶🏽
With so much going on in my life over the past few years, I never expected to get a phone call out of the blue, I hadn't heard from my darling niece Tracey in a while. We were very close and we would catch up time and time again during our many travels, she has a son and daughter, both whom are now young adults. She has 3 grandchildren. Tracey didn't sound good, when she called. Sounding very weak, voice croaky and coughing terribly, I could tell that the call wasn't an happy one. Calmy I took a deep breath and helped her to get her breath back and she started to speak, "Oh my dear uncle, my wonderful caring uncle". "I'm so terribly sorry for this call but I have to tell you, uncle" (tears swell my eyes as the sound of sobbing and swallowing comes from her as she sobbingly tells me she has been diagnosed with cancer. 💔😢 she'd been diagnosed a few months ago but after many tests and examinations, what was thought for her to be informed by cancer specialists and her doctor she would have at least 3 - 6 years, would soon turn into months. Sadly, she called me today to tell me that even with the necessary radiation treatment and chemotherapy, her cancer had spread through her body and to her brain. "It's aggressive, my uncle, and I'm shit scared, who's going to look after my babies", she calls her son and daughter, grandchildren. I couldn't help myself but broken-hearted of the news and her voice shaky and nervous, I couldn't hold the tears back. I told her about the fundraising challenges I had been doing for the last few years and she seemed happy to hear that. She asked as a final request, a final favour, she asked me if I could dedicate this one for her. So, now, I'm going to honour her by doing just that! Plus, over the next few days myself and my wife family are going to try to go see her in Dubbo Hospital as soon as possible. 💛🙏🏾🫶🏽I'm taking on The March Charge...
...a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research.
This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, a decade of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support people impacted by cancer. I’m proud to be part of this movement and Charge for Change.
Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the the words “you have cancer” this year. I’m doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for those affected.
Please sponsor me today and make every kilometre count! Every dollar raised will help fund Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services.
Together, we can tell cancer where to go. Feel the Charge and join me in making a difference!

Instead of a Random Donation, I'm doing a Rainbow Donation, from a collection taken up from more friends. Others of my colourful unicorns donated directly but some aren't showing and may have gone through the direct CC button. I do want you to know you would have reached your goal already in Tracey's name if things had gone to plan.
