I'm Charging for my Mum

I'm taking on The March Charge…

...a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research.

It’s been 13 months since we were told to go home and enjoy the little time you have left. We’ve had 12 months we never thought we’d have with you - 12 months of hugs, laughs and tears. We got to celebrate Christmas as a family, tick off some bucket list items, spend quality time with family and friends and make precious memories. You spent a month with your best friend, had your brother come over twice and many mini-breaks. 3 weeks ago we held back tears as they told us treatment was not working and were given a choice. I’m so very proud of you and have so much respect for the choice you made - to have quality over quantity and be at home with us. I’m doing this for you!

Just as you have faced every challenge thrown at you, I’ve challenged myself to walk further and raise more. Not just more in donations but most importantly awareness and urge people to listen to your body, advocate for yourself and do what you need to.
