I'm Charging for my Mum
I'm taking on The March Charge...

This year I am taking part in the March Charge in support of Cancer Council SA, a charity working right across the cancer journey from prevention, to research, and support of patients and their families.
I'm 'charging' for warriors like my mum who have survived cancer, are currently living with cancer, and in memory of those who have passed from this insidious disease.
My mum she has survived breast cancer twice (two different primary tumours), Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia - the cancer I was working on as a post-doc at the time (crazy!) and is currently receiving treatment for a recurrence of the second breast cancer. All with a smile :)
Cancer warriors like my mum are so inspiring and this is my small part contributing to cancer research efforts and support services.
Cancer research and innovation is so important for developing new diagnostic tools, therapeutics as well as cancer survivorship and quality of life.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $365.
