T&T Financial Group Raises $1,411 for Cancer Council - The March Charge 2026
The March Charge 2026 is complete. T&T Financial Group is proud to have been part of it, and deeply grateful to everyone who donated to our team throughout the month.
An estimated 169,000 Australians will receive a cancer diagnosis this year. The March Charge exists to fund the research, education, and support services that help those people and their families. That is why Tyrone Cammaroto and Thomas Strmecki signed up, and that is what every dollar raised went toward.
Between them, Tyrone and Tom walked 473km across March and raised $1,411 for Cancer Council Australia.
Tyrone Cammaroto: 219km walked. $1,006 raised. Diamond Charger. Charging for his Dad.
Thomas Strmecki: 254km walked. $405 raised. Charging for his Uncle.
Both brokers exceeded their 200km fitness targets and surpassed their individual fundraising goals. Tyrone achieved Diamond Charger status, awarded to those who raise $1,000 or more personally.
Based on Cancer Council's own impact figures, the $1,411 raised by the T&T Financial Group team helped fund 844 kids receiving a SunSmart education, 38 calls answered by trained cancer professionals on the 13 11 20 support line, and 11 days of a PhD student's world-class cancer research.
Those are not abstract statistics. They represent real Australians getting access to information, professional support, and cutting-edge science at the moments they need it most.
Both Tyrone and Tom took on this challenge for deeply personal reasons. That showed in how they approached every day of March.

With 12 days to go, here is where Tyrone Cammaroto and Thomas Strmecki at T&T Financial Group are sitting in The March Charge 2026.
Tyrone Cammaroto 125km walked $1,006 raised Charging for his Dad
Thomas Strmecki 142km walked $298 raised Charging for his Uncle
Combined the T&T Financial Group team has walked 267km and raised $1,304 for Cancer Council Australia. Both Tyrone and T&T Financial Group have smashed their individual donation targets and the team is still going strong with 12 days left in the challenge.
Together those dollars have already helped provide 602 kids with a SunSmart education, 27 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20, and 8 days of a PHD student's world-class cancer research. Every kilometre and every dollar still counts.

T&T Financial Group is taking part in The March Charge: a month-long fitness challenge raising funds for Cancer Council Australia.
This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, with Australians coming together to get active and raise millions to support people impacted by cancer. Tyrone Cammaroto and Thomas Strmecki from T&T Financial Group are proud to be part of it.
Sadly, an estimated 169,000 Australians will hear the words "you have cancer" this year. Supporting our community matters to us, which is why we are getting active throughout March and fundraising to help make a difference.
Every kilometre completed and every dollar raised goes toward Cancer Council's research, prevention programs, and support services for those affected.
