I'm taking on The March Charge...

...a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for world-class cancer research.

Cancer has taken too many people I love.

In 2025, my aunt passed away from pancreatic cancer after a year of immense pain and courage.

My friend Kiril’s diagnosis came suddenly.

Cancer was found in his brain, and despite surgery, he passed away just a few weeks later at only 13 years old.

My dear friend Sylvie fought pancreatic cancer for two years before losing her battle in 2023.

My grandfather was diagnosed with brain cancer in April and passed away just three months later. My mum was only 13 when she lost her father.

Then, at 18 she faced her own diagnosis – ovarian tumour. Doctors told her she would never be able to have children, but against the odds, she survived and proved that wrong.

I participate in this fundraiser not only to honour the loved ones I’ve lost, but for the 169,000 Australians that will hear the words “you have cancer” this year. If you, or someone you love has been affected by this disease, I strongly encourage you to join me in this fight.

This year marks 10 years of The March Charge, a decade of Aussies getting active and raising millions to support people impacted by cancer. I’m proud to be part of this movement and Charge for Change.
